Dr. Lawrence Green

Lawrence J. Green, MD, is Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at George Washington University School of Medicine. He received his medical degree and completed internship at the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York; completed a research fellowship in dermatology at the University of California at Irvine School of Medicine; and finished residency at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center. He currently practices dermatology in suburban Washington DC.
Dr. Green is a board-certified dermatologist as well as an active member of many professional and scientific societies, including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, District of Columbia Dermatologic Society, and American Academy of Dermatology. He currently sits on the SKINPAC board of advisors for the American Academy of Dermatology and on the board of trustees for the National Psoriasis Foundation.
He is chair of the scope of practice committee for the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Green has been and continues to be an investigator in clinical trials for multiple topical medications to treat acne since 1992. He has authored or co-authored a plethora of peer-reviewed articles and symposia presentations, mainly related to the treatment of acne. During this time, Dr. Green has also been a speaker at many national and regional dermatology meetings on acne treatment.
